Sedum adolphii, a captivating succulent native to Mexico, forms rambling stems adorned with waxy golden yellow leaves, their pinkish-peach margins shining brightly in the sun. This lovely high-colored tender plant, standing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall, produces star-shaped white flowers, making it an excellent color accent in rock gardens and dish gardens.

Thriving in porous soil with adequate drainage, Sedum adolphii is well-suited for poor, sandy soils. Requiring bright light to full sun, this succulent is a fine groundcover in frost-free areas, although it is more commonly grown as a container plant for easy protection during the colder season.

The plant's origins can be traced to the Cape region of South Africa, where the dry season is long and hot, yet tempered by the marine influence. As rosettes age, they produce new leaves at the center, shedding the oldest that drop off and root where conditions are right. This process contributes to the plant's casual, rambling aesthetic, with football-shaped yellow-green leaves up to 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) long.

One of the defining features of Sedum adolphii is the vibrant orange-red highlights that appear when the plant is grown in the sun, making it a true visual delight. The small cream-colored flower heads, produced at the tips in spring, further enhance the plant's ornamental appeal.

At Succulents Central, we are committed to providing our customers with healthy, well-established Sedum adolphii plants. We guarantee the safe arrival of your order, and if for any reason the plant does not meet your expectations, we will either refund your purchase or send you a replacement plant.

Please note that if your area experiences cold weather (under 40 degrees), we recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order to ensure the plant's well-being during shipping. You can find the Heat Pack option on our website: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BL74D964?ref=myi_title_dp.
