Growing Desert Rose From Seeds
To begin growing desert rose from seeds, prepare a container with a well-draining growing medium, such as a perlite or sand and soil mix. Place the seeds in the growing medium, covering them lightly. Water the medium from below daily, and from above once every three days, until the seedlings appear.
Ensure the growing tray or container is placed on a heating pad, and maintain the temperature of the growing medium between 80 and 85 F (27-29 C). Fresh desert rose plant seeds should germinate within one week. However, if the seeds are not fresh, the germination process may take longer, or the seeds may not germinate at all.
Once the seedlings appear, water them only from below. In approximately one month, the seedlings will have grown large enough to transplant into a permanent container.
