If you're on the hunt for a euphorbia with unparalleled elegance, Euphorbia enoplia is the wise choice to add to your collection. This captivating succulent features deeply multigreen, leafless, and spineless ribbed column-like stems adorned seasonally with small burgundy to purple flowers. The snazzy striping pattern on the stems gives this African native its name, the Tanzanian zipper plant. When the small ornamental flowers grace the ridge lines of the stems, the plant is akin to living jewelry or an intricate, clump-forming art piece. It forms a dense cluster of these beautiful stems, reaching about a foot wide.
Your plant will arrive fully rooted and ready to display, accompanied by a 5" concrete container. If placing it outside, we recommend gradually acclimating your new euphorbia to direct sunlight. Indoors, position the plant near your sunniest window for optimal color and form. If you live in an area without frost concerns, you can plant it in the garden, preferably in spring or early fall to avoid the challenges of establishing it during summer heat or winter chill. For best appearance, water in the morning during hot weather.
Avoid contact with the plant's white sap, and wash well with soap and water if exposed. Euphorbia anoplia is the epitome of elegance among live house plants, cacti, and succulents, and is part of our rare plant collection. Your house plant arrives ready to display in a 5" concrete planter pot.
We're excited to offer our rare plants for sale online, including this unique, real plant that grows small ornamental flowers. Live indoor plants like this are perfect for both houseplant beginners and experienced plant lovers.
Commonly mistaken for a live cactus plant, Euphorbia are generally easy plants with similar light and water requirements as succulents and cacti. However, these unique house plants secrete a sticky latex sap and must be handled with care.
Everyone loves exotic house plants, and Euphorbiaceae is the fifth-largest flowering plant family, featuring striking forms and spurges. Display these easy-to-grow house plants alongside rare succulents and other live plant treasures.
Our family-owned and operated business started with two plant lovers' hobby in 1975, and now we're the largest breeder and grower of succulents and cacti in the world, offering an extensive collection of living treasures online and in stores nationwide.
